Welcome to the Red Tent Circle—A Place to Rewild Yourself
We need the mothers of the world, including those who haven't birthed a child but hold close love and compassion for all people, to rise up. Humanity is long overdue to leave behind the ravages of war and industry on people, animals, the land, and the soul of countries.
Until the feminine voice of empathy, compassion and collaboration is truly heard and heeded the world agenda will not change. The order of things has been stationary for so long that we think it's normal. It isn't.
In support of reclaiming balance between the yin and yang energies, we welcome you to our private group. Meetings take place in Connecticut. We gather most months around the time of the New Moon. This may take the form of an intimate home gathering, an all-day forest retreat or a Zoom meeting.
Whatever form it takes, this work is based on the foregone traditions when women gathered to honor the cycle of the feminine in relation to the cycle of the moon. We may also circle at certain points in the wheel of the year, as our ancestors have done in ceremonies for centuries.
The New Moon is when women are most in need of support, rest and reflection. A time to honor the return of feminine values and skills on a planet long held in the grips of the patriarchal mindset.
At this time women are at their most psychically open and considered to be closest to God/Goddess. An ideal time to meditate on behalf of themselves, each other and for the greater good—channeling intuitive insights and guidance for personal healing, as well as global and sustainable change.
A desire to reclaim and honor traditional feminine wisdom, intuition, and customs is an intrinsic part of this paradigm shift many of us are feeling as we heal the Witch wound created by the church ruled by men who wrote the feminine out of the story.
Mother Earth is suffering, a reflection of how humanity has collectively denied and disowned the natural cycles, strengths, and wisdom of the feminine. The intention of this group is to help heal the sister wound that was created when the patriarchy co-opted power in a world that once worshipped the qualities of the feminine.
In times past, women gathered to share the wisdom of the elders, wild women, mothers, and maidens. A modern-day Red Tent may also contain:
• Women of many ages sharing space and emotional support
• Information on the gifts and challenges of each New Moon cycle or the Wheel of the Year
• Guided Meditation for personal reflection
• Global Healing Intention
• The practice of Intuitive skills
• Sharing healing methods
• Food information
• Crafts/Gardening
• Natural Beauty Treatments
• Clothing trades… and more!**Many monthly gatherings will feature a guest speaker who will offer information of a healing, environmental, artistic, or intuitive sort.
